We're Steph & Liana, the charismatic cult leaders crafty co-conspirators behind Social Superlatives University. We searched high & low for the perfect community for social media pros, but they all fell short - so we decided to build it.

After 10 years in business, Stephanie found herself so burnt out, she was considering walking away for good. One day, Liana reached out to Steph to see how things were going. What began as a casual catch-up quickly escalated into a months-long conversation about building this community, together.
It doesn't matter how long you've been in business, we all get by with a little help from our friends.
The more they talked, the more Stephanie realized that the skills & experience Liana brought to the table would complement hers. Where Stephanie wanted to be behind the scenes, Lianamar was happy to step into the spotlight. Because they both operated very different business models - Liana with a full service agency & Steph with a 1:1 high ticket & digital product hybrid - they could each share unique perspectives & experiences.
It's in this spirit that the Social Superlatives Community was born.

Stephanie Gilbert?
Steph is a helicopter cat mom, rockstar wifey, part-time collage artist, and nostalgia-obsessed internet elder.
Myspace days aside, Stephanie officially began her journey as a social media manager in 2015, growing her boutique agency, Small Talk Social, to multi-6 figures in under 2 years.
In 2018 she launched The Social Media CEO, which has become a go-to resource for thousands of social media service providers who want to systemize & scale.
She’s worked with brands like Urban Outfitters, Bombas, Sweaty Betty & Eileen Fisher, collaborated with platforms like Later, HoneyBook, Flodesk & Cloud Campaign, and has been featured in Forbes & Entrepreneur.
Why you're in good hands: Steph is well-versed in the art of gathering - both online & IRL - having planned & hosted multiple sold out retreats. Curating intentional space for real transformation to take place is one of her passions. (So much so that she recently became a Certified Somatic Psychedelic Facilitator, but that's a story for another day...)

Lianamar Dávila Sanabria?
Liana is a former bilingual TV news reporter, an extremely online internet culture enthusiast, and a part-time tour guide.
An event marketer turned social strategist, Liana was an early adopter of all The Social Media CEO's offerings. Before SSU, she was personally mentored by Steph as she navigated a "pandemic pivot" into agency ownership, and she graduated as part of the inaugural class of Social Superlatives Certified Master Strategists.
Since 2020, Liana has gone on to grow a multi-6 figure content agency, Lidavi Social - leading an international team & supporting clients all over.
Why you're in good hands: She's an extroverted people-person & a self-proclaimed "Community Hoe™️". Having been a member of a variety of online groups, she's got the inside scoop as to what makes some "meh" & others "A-meh-zingggg!"
